Mangrove health monitoring for Cardno, North Australia

Mangrove ecosystems are important but also vulnerable ecosystems. They are known to react sensible to changes in water turbidity. The impact of near shore dredging activities to Mangrove areas must therefore be strictly monitored and analyses. EOMAP is contracted to a quarterly monitoring of the health status of mangroves in North Australia, from pre-processing of high resolution imagery to the final statistical analysis and map products.
