Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

EO Consultancy

Introduction

An environmental impact assessment (EIA) is a process to identify and quantify the environmental impact of a concept or project. EIAs are relevant throughout the lifecycle of a project, starting in the tendering phase. They very much define the public acceptance of projects, especially in environmentally sensitive areas such as coastal estuaries and mangrove environments.
